Our Story

From the Hills of Balochistan to Hyderabad

Live karahi cooking over open flame — the Balochi family tradition that started it all
01

Family recipes

Our sajji began in the hills of Balochistan — a whole raan, dry-rubbed by hand and slow-roasted over coals, a recipe carried by one family across three generations.

Hand-ground masala and live karahi preparation the traditional Balochi way
02

Traditional preparation

Meat is hand-minced at dawn, masala stone-ground in-house, and every karahi meets open flame and real charcoal — never gas, never shortcuts.

03

Locally selected spices

Dry red chillies from Kunri, cumin and coriander chosen pod by pod from the Quetta spice bazaars — the market run happens before sunrise, daily.

04

Modern presentation

The same hill-side soul, plated with the calm of a modern Hyderabad dining room — brass, marble, warm light that flatters the food.

Full dastarkhwan spread — hospitality served with every meal
05

Hospitality with every meal

Chai on the house while you wait, a dastarkhwan laid generously, and a farewell at the door — mehmaan-nawazi is the recipe we never change.
